ONC Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health Act Grantee List

The Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health (HITECH) Act was passed as part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) to invest in the U.S. health IT infrastructure. The Office of the National Coordinator for Health IT (ONC) received over $2 billion of these HITECH funds. These funds were used to invest in health information exchange, the adoption of electronic health records, train the health IT workforce, and spur innovative health IT research. The full list of ONC HITECH grantees are listed below, including the grantee's website where you can learn more about how each organization has used these Act's funds to invest in and enhance the U.S. health IT infrastructure. If you have any questions or concerns about this data, please contact ONC.Request@hhs.gov.

You can access the data in multiple formats on the ONC HITECH Act Grant List dataset page or below. This is an ongoing project managed by the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology, an agency of the Department of Health and Human Services.
